Trust, in plain language

Your records deserve
clear answers.

Property records carry real responsibility. Before you bring them into Rentyx, you should understand how access works, how payments are checked and where to turn with a question.

Responsibility is part of the product

Confidence starts
with the detail.

We use several layers of protection. We can explain what they do, where privileged access is still possible and what needs to be agreed for your organisation.

We do not describe Rentyx as end-to-end encrypted or promise that any software is impossible to breach.

01 / Access

The right person.
The right workspace.

Account authentication, workspace roles and server-side organisation checks control access to records and actions. Your team should use individual accounts and review access when responsibilities change.

02 / Sensitive information

Different data.
Appropriate protection.

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Selected sensitive values, including supported bank-beneficiary details and authenticator secrets, are encrypted by the application. This does not mean that every field is encrypted or inaccessible to privileged operators.

03 / Documents

Private records.
Deliberate sharing.

Document retrieval is subject to access checks. Shared links give access to whoever holds them, so your team should share them intentionally and treat downloaded copies as confidential records.

04 / Payments

A notification is not
a confirmed payment.

Flutterwave handles supported online payment processing. Rentyx verifies provider records before applying supported payment and transfer updates, checks identifiers and amounts, and uses duplicate-handling and reconciliation controls. Unresolved results need investigation, not a second payment made on assumption.

Before your organisation commits

Bring your
due-diligence questions.

Ask us about hosting and service providers, data handling, backup and recovery arrangements, support, and the terms for your workspace. Any service commitments belong in your written agreement.

Talk through your requirements
Straight answers

What you
should know.

01Can Rentyx staff technically access customer information?

Privileged application or infrastructure access can make customer information accessible. The application must process records to provide the service. It would be inaccurate to say that nobody at Rentyx could ever read them. Ask us about operational access arrangements for your organisation.

02Is every field encrypted?

No. Password hashing and encryption of selected sensitive values serve different purposes. We do not claim field-level encryption of all names, emails, property records or documents, and the platform is not end-to-end encrypted.

03What if a payment is pending or the records do not match?

Keep the transaction reference and contact support. Pending or conflicting provider evidence needs to be checked through reconciliation. Avoid retrying a transfer merely because confirmation is delayed.

04Can we review access and data handling before onboarding?

Yes. Discuss the roles your staff need, how you plan to share documents and the records to bring across. Raise contractual requirements before committing so the responsibilities are clear.

A concern, or something that needs attention?

There’s a person
at the other end.
